The Challenge: "Think of 15 albums that had such a profound effect on you they changed your life or the way you looked at it. They sucked you in and took you over for days, weeks, months, years. These are the albums that you can use to identify time, places, people, emotions. These are the albums that no matter what they were thought of musically shaped your world. When you finish, tag 10 others. Make sure you copy and paste this part so they know the drill. Get the idea now? Good. Tag, you're it!"

| Story |
[Jan. 8th, 2009|01:01 am] |
There was once a village idiot. He was able to mask his stupidity because of his ability to speak really well to large groups of people. He in fact, was given many awards for his ability to talk and bull shit to people. He used this ability for many things. He spoke on saving the planet, on finding faith, on helping people, on being a real person, and not fake. He had heard many of these speeches when he traveled our great country. He heard them from everyday people, crazies on the subway, politicians, priests, and other religious people. He also read newspapers to make sure he what was going on in kenya, cuba, and around the world.
Then he went to a place he hadn't been before. A place where people were from every aspect of life, there to explore what they could about the world and humanity. He was awed by what he saw, and knew in an instant that he had to stay there.
He stayed, lived and debated with all of the others. He made policy disicions, argued and voted. He tried to influence the world. He made castles in the sky, everyone else was amazed. But he was amazed by something else, He saw the perfection of gods creation. A woman of beauty, not of the perfect innocence or stunning Hollywood beauty, but of the person who had lived life, someone who saw the world for what it was and still was able to smile every morning just to be alive.
He fell in love with her, and wanted to impress her. He did so, But when he walked up to her and began talking He had no words, No quotes he could use, No great leader he could emulate, no priest to speak from, and no news to say that could help him express what he felt.
He fell mute, and she walked away. He was dragged away by others who wanted to hear him speak on some topic or another, but all he could think of was her. His castles fell and crashed, his plans unraveled. He went into his house, for it was no home that he lived in. There, day and night he thought and thought and thought for how he might express himself.
Until one day he lay dieing, he figured it out. He drew two lines, at first paralell, but then they come together and spiral around and around getting closer and closer, until they are one.
And he died |

The light at the end of the tunnel is blocked by the universe that bore it and my own inadiquicies. Although the rocks in the road are few and being climbed, I still can't get the idea that I have something else to scale. My escape is no more, unless I travel back to the past to meet it. | Protest! on my birthday! |
[Nov. 19th, 2008|06:41 pm] |
I, as many people, are pissed about the passing of section 8 in California, hell i'm pissed that people can't accept other people across the globe. Section 8 states that gay marriage shall be banned in California, when a judge deemed that under the states constitution is was perfectly fine to happen.
Now in protest gays across the country are going to call in sick on December 10th, 2008 to show the country what will happen if there were no gays in America. This is a copy of what Immigrants did in 2006, but still a relevant protest method. I'm in full support of it and will probably participate, even though I'm not gay. Instead I will be celebrating my birthday.
For those who want more information DaywithoutAGay.org will help you.
Peace |

Been a while since I have made a post, so we shall do some general update non-sense and what-not My fridge is broken. Lesuck. But I should be able to get a new one for free through a senior who doesn't use her's any more. Luck! Been playing around with Magic here and I forgot how much fun I have when I'm playing games, card or otherwise with people. Went to a party and was a philanthripist glowstick man. I bought shit ton's of glowsticks from a guy and threw them into the crowd at a basement party. w00t! People here are a blast and school is starting to get scary for a few reasons. 1) I have a near 15 page paper I need to write and 2 weeks to do it (I don't count thanksgiving break) 2) I don't know if I can do both my majors in 4 years, and I don't want to go into debt with a 5th year. However there is luck! As I do not have any finals this semester so I can party it up for no good reason after i finish the long paper. and also, I think I've got the right major in history, as I want to write and research a second paper after the one I'm in right now. fuck, I'd fail this class so I can do it again. |

01. Do you have the guts to answer these questions and re-post as The Controversial Survey? Yep
02. Would you do meth if it was legal? No. Not because meth is demonized today, but because it's effects are dangerous, and it's creation potentialy explosive.
03. Abortion: for or against it? I am 100% for abortion. It is woman's right to choose, the choice should ALWAYS be there no matter the situation. If someone wants one, go ahead, if they think it is wrong, don't have it.
04. Do you think the world would fail with a female president? There already are female presidents, and look! a world! But I think this is refering to a female president of the United States of America. Guess what? It should have happened a while ago, just hasn't.
05. Do you believe in the death penalty? No. There is always a better way to deal with something then just killing the other person. A government should never condone killing of People.
06. Do you wish marijuana would be legalized already? yes, if just so it can be taxed and regulated!
07. Are you for or against premarital sex? Personally I am. Others aren't and that is cool, personal choice man.
08. Do you believe in God? I have faith. Whether or not there is a 'god' or 'goddess' or whatever does not concern me. I just have faith that people can be good.
09. Do you think same sex marriage should be legalized? I don't understand why it isn't. Any arguments against it are full of holes. This includes quoting the Bible, which is just about as useful as the Hitler defense in any schoolarly argument.
10. Do you think Illegal immagration into the USA is a problem? Is it a problem that people want to live here and not in their own country? I find it flattering. We are a country which should accept people, but the problem is not in people coming here, or stopping them, or sending them back. Its that their country is unable to help them and is falling apart.
11. A twelve year old girl has a baby, should she keep it? I say no. Should the child be taken away from her and put into government care? also no. The closest reliable family member should take care of it, such as her parents or grandparents.
12. Should the alcohol age be lowered to eighteen? That wouldn't solve the problems we have with alcohol today, it would only bring them to a lower age. We need to move as a society to not say 'NO ALCOHOL BEFORE 21!!" to a society which can accept alcohol at socially right times, such as family meals or celebrations and teach how to safely drink alcohol and use other drugs.
13. Should the war in Iraq be called off? Called off? As in just end it? It should never have started, but now that we are there we must make sure that the country is self sufficiant and can stand on its own and not be torn apart by internal struggles.
14. Assisted suicide is illegal: do you agree? This is choice, a choice that is hard to make, but it is a personal choice and governments shouldn't stand in the way of it, just because you can't make suicide illegal.
15. Do you believe in spanking your children? I won't, violence begets violence.
16. Would you burn an American flag for a million dollars? Yes. Burning a flag is nothing but burning cloth, the country stands.
17. Who do you think would make a better president? McCain or Obama? Obama, because he will do more to help the real hero's of this country, the silversmiths, laywers, doctors, poll workers, office workers, and everyone of the middle class who makes this country what it is and who ultimately decides what should happen.
18. Are you afraid others will judge you from reading some of your answers? I'm sure they will. this is what I believe. I don't believe in a higher religious power, but facts and numbers. I have faith in people and in the goodness of mankind. I have faith that if you judge me, it won't change our relationship, because that is not why we are friends. We are friends because we are people who care for one another and we have laughed and cried together. |

| WTF Quidich? |
[Oct. 9th, 2008|07:53 am] |
I know I haven't been updating much here on ole LJ, but If you want to know something just ask.
Life has been getting steadily Odder, which for me is kinda hard to do. First off I someone managed to run into a group of upper classmen who are geeks, play D&D and magic on a semi-regular basis, and are all really fun people who watch ton's of movies. My movie watching has increased exponentialy since last year. Last night was cloverfield. Great, yet freaky, movie. Also, they all like to watch the debates and argue about politics!
I have also managed to solidify myself with 2 other groups of people to hang out with/ go to parties with. This should mean good times in the future.
This weekend is a trip into Ohio for Rocky Horror Picture Show. I'm not getting dressed up, but I do have a feather boa I'm taking, and getting some make up it would seem. Kat, I now have more people who want to put me in drag.
The oddest thing going down is that a Quidich team has started. I'm joining and I know/hang with most of the team so far. Practice yesterday was a random blast of awesome in a slightly dreary day. I'm trying to be the keeper, and I'm not bad at blocking a kick ball with a broom. All my training at sweeping has come in handy.
Hope everyone back in Indy is having a good time. I miss you guys and the random antics you get into. Peace & Love. |

I just finished staring at the stars and being exitential. I have decided that I do love someone. I believe that god is a concept with power of faith from others believe in it. My believe is not in an almighty power, but I have faith in humanities ability to overcome our darkness and be creatures of good. Darkness is as needed as light is. Shadow is something I understand and can connect to on a deeper level than I thought possible. Oh, and dancing is needed whenever possible to free up ones emotions and muscles.
I do instead of going to a party and getting wasted, not because I can't, i just don't want to right now. |

It was pretty cool and fun. It brought out some odd feelings in me at the end, but otherwise very cool. Acting like i'm in a plane, Like a 5 yearold at the movies, Screaming that I must save buba, Milking a cow, and being chill while having my shoes stolen. But what does my reflex to punch a guy in the face when allie moved up next to him show? jelousy? love? protection? I hope its the last one, as I'm already involved and I was giving a massage while watching robocop in a cool dorm. time for meditation? yoga? |

Allie and I went on a bike ride across town to get "V for Vendetta." Now we both own it, need to watch it soon. Also, need to start busting out the bass a bit more, I'll bring it out tomorrow if I have time, or later tonight depending on what goes down, I'll learn it all over again! yay!
Found many cool people, and life in a dorm is interesting, not as bad as some made it out to be, and not as bad as others made it out to be either. My room mate is a chill guy, no real problems between us yet, but we can both tell that we are nervous about making a problem occur. oh well it will get better soon I hope. |
